Privacy Policy
Version 1 · published Oct 8, 2026
This policy explains what LT Liquidations LLC ("we", "us"), operator of Two Bro Sales (the "Platform"), collects about you, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to the Platform and to the email and SMS messages we send. The Platform is a business-to-business service; we do not knowingly collect information from consumers or from anyone under 18.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password (stored only as a hash).
- Business details: the legal name, address, type and licence numbers of the business you represent, and the names of its staff who use the Platform.
- Resale certificates and licences: the certificate or licence document you upload, its number, issuing state and expiry date.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive the payment method type, the last four digits, the outcome of each payment and a reference. We never see or store full card or bank account numbers.
- Bidding and purchase records: every bid, including the maximum you set, every invoice, every pickup record and every claim.
- Device and connection data: your IP address, browser and device identifiers, and the time of each request. We record these against every bid for bid-integrity purposes.
- Communications: messages you send us and records of messages we send you.
2. How we use it
- To verify that you and your business are eligible to bid or sell.
- To run auctions, resolve proxy bids, close lots, issue invoices and release pickups.
- To collect payment, hold and release seller payouts, and record fees.
- To detect shill bidding, linked accounts and other misuse. IP, device and timing data are compared across accounts for this purpose.
- To send transactional email and, with your consent, SMS messages.
- To comply with the law, including tax and marketplace-transparency obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.
- To improve the Platform using aggregated statistics that do not identify you.
3. What we share and with whom
- With the seller, after you win a lot: your business name, the name of your contact, their phone number and email, so the seller can arrange pickup. Your maximum bid is never shared.
- With the buyer, after a lot sells: the seller's business name, pickup address, hours and contact details.
- With Stripe, to process payments and payouts, and to meet Stripe's own verification requirements.
- With service providers who host the Platform, store uploaded files, send email and SMS, and help us analyse usage. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
- With regulators, law enforcement or a court where the law requires it, or to protect the rights or safety of the Platform or its users.
- With a successor if the Platform is sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with sellers or buyers for marketing.
4. Maximum bids and bid integrity
Your maximum bid is stored in the Platform's database and is used only by the bidding engine. It is never displayed to sellers, other bidders or Platform staff. Platform staff can see the bid history of a lot (the sequence of prices and the bidding business) in order to investigate disputes and misuse.
5. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a small number of cookies to remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser; doing so signs you out.
6. Retention
- Bid, invoice, payment, pickup and claim records are kept for seven years after the transaction to meet tax, audit and marketplace-transparency obligations.
- Resale certificates are kept for seven years after they expire or after your account closes, whichever is later.
- Device and IP data attached to bids are kept with the bid record.
- Account details are kept while your account is open and for seven years afterwards, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
7. SMS consent
If you enter your mobile number and tick the SMS box, you consent to receive automated text messages from Two Bro Sales about your bids (outbid notices, lots closing soon, lots won), invoices, pickup codes and account status. Message frequency varies with your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of using the Platform. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Your choices
- You can update your account and business details in your account settings.
- You can turn SMS off in your account settings or by replying STOP.
- You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by writing to the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
- You can close your account; we will keep only the records described in section 6.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Passwords are hashed. Access to uploaded certificates is limited to Platform staff who review applications and to the business that uploaded them. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you as the law requires.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date is shown at the top and material changes will be announced by email or on the Platform before they take effect.
